Dott Exhibition Begins

After a long wait, OurNewSchool has unveiled its prototype project at Dott07

Today, an unusual structure on Baltic Square opens with a number of exhibits of design projects from around the north east, including the unique story of Walker Technology College and its OurNewSchool process.

The exhibition is free and open from 10am - 6pm, and offers the opportunity for the Walker community to see the concept plans for the new school and also their first glimpse of the brief to the architect. Visitors can see the process the school went through explained through artwork, books, animations and film.

Visitors can also see a giant graphic of Walker's student journey - a diagram of the decisions, interactions and achieements that a student will experience from year 7 up to year 14.
